2016 League of Legends Line Up

Legends we are always looking forward forgetting what is behind (especially some of you near the bottom of the leaderboard...ha). No seriously I am starting to plan the lineup for the 2016 League of Legends Season. This will be our first full season of Legends.

* Leagues


You will notice that NBA and EPL have stars by them. This is to denote that these leagues will actually start in 2015. I am scoring these on a weekly basis so it won't really matter if they carry over. However you will need to join the leagues when I send out the invites to make sure you get points in the 2015 and 2016 season.

Superbowl


The Superbowl is the official unofficial start of the season. Unofficial because technically if you are in the EPL league and the NBA league you will already have some points in the 2016 season. The Superbowl pick will end up being a HOT TAKE pick worth more points than a normal HOT TAKE. The pick will be against the spread.

Hollywood Picks


This is a new game on the slate. It will consist of two pickems. Oscars pickem: We will pick the winners in the top categories and maybe one crazy category for fun. The other game is a Box Office weekend game. You will have to pick the dollar amounts for various movie opening weekends.

Everything else is a carry over from the 2015 league. Remember this is a play as much as you want type of contest. If we have several legends participating in the 2016 season I will add some prizes to sweeten the deal and keep you interested.

Rundown 6/12/2017 - Jcomp edition

It was a big week across the athletic landscape as several sports and collegiate softball crowned champions. Nadal finished an all-time great run through the French Open, the Penguins won the Stanley Cup, and Lebron ended talk of the Warriors and an undefeated postseason. Meanwhile, Patty took the LOL season lead for all of 36 hours until TJS could finish his 100 hour work week and get back to his computer to “adjust” the scoring. We’re 12 days into the second streak month of the LOL year. I feel a bit like Bob Gibson probably felt in 69 after the whiners got their way and the rules were changed. Luckily enough we’re entering prime Cricket season which, outside of Russian Basketball, is my sweetspot. You guys better get ready for a load of Chris Gayle Hot Takes. Welcome to the League of Legends rundown. A weekly (hopefully) rundown of all the sweet action from the real League of Legends (not that nerdy computer game).
