Welcome to the League of Legends rundown. A weekly (hopefully) rundown of all the sweet action from the real League of Legends (not that nerdy computer game). Season 3 is well under way with several leagues already started.

Talk about a first pick waste. I doubt HvuSnMyball even shows up for the draft. Trout will spend the summer wasting away on a team out of it by April...actually this seems pretty true to life. Hopefully HvuSnMyBall lands Pujols as well.

  • Wonder how many dongs Stanton will blast this year?

  • Matt Harvey is on the trading block right now.

  • Pitching looks a little suspect, but my infield looks decent. 
  • What no Starling Marte!!! Travesty
We'll have to see how it plays out Sunday night.

March Madness

Three cheers for the first annual..."My Bracket is a Dumpster Fire before Round 2" Award. Kranhold showed all legends how not to fill out a bracket.


Not sure which is worse, Kranhold's bracket or the fact that he is only 7 picks out of second place. Dumpster fires all over the legends' brackets this year. 

Streak

Super long streak then slow play is the strategy for Streak this month, according to current streak leader Jcomp. He didn't even need to first day free win to dominate the field. You know you are doing something right when they change the rules because of you. The next couple streak months will have the following changes to scoring.
  • 30 pick minimum for streak points to count
  • 1000 points for longest streak of the month and then graduated points for remaining legends
  • 1000 points for the highest win pct for the month and then graduated points for remaining legends
  • 100 point bonus for legend with the most wins for the month
This will reward the legend that has the longest streak as well as the legend that has sustained success throughout the month.

Horstman Master's Dominance, Tower continues his Yahoo league excellence, Baseball week 1 wrapup, that and more in this week's rundown. The Masters One could argue Horstman wasn't even paying attention to Season 3 League Of Legends. He shut all that noise down with a convincing Masters Championship foursome netting him 1000 fake internet points and 5 minutes of League of Legend fame. The winning foursome of Hideki Matsuyama, Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, and Justin Rose pulled away from the rest of the field. Rundown 6/12/2017 - Jcomp edition

It was a big week across the athletic landscape as several sports and collegiate softball crowned champions. Nadal finished an all-time great run through the French Open, the Penguins won the Stanley Cup, and Lebron ended talk of the Warriors and an undefeated postseason. Meanwhile, Patty took the LOL season lead for all of 36 hours until TJS could finish his 100 hour work week and get back to his computer to “adjust” the scoring. We’re 12 days into the second streak month of the LOL year. I feel a bit like Bob Gibson probably felt in 69 after the whiners got their way and the rules were changed. Luckily enough we’re entering prime Cricket season which, outside of Russian Basketball, is my sweetspot. You guys better get ready for a load of Chris Gayle Hot Takes. RunDown 9/5/2017: Almost 3 whole months

Legends its been almost 3 whole months since the last League Of Legends post. Teams are settling in, thejoestory has taken his spot right near the top of the overall standings, Tower has been going on and on about how he wins the leagues, and EvulMonkey has made his annual week 1 NFL lineup change followed by 14 weeks of nothingness. That's right legends fall is around the corner, CFB has kicked off and NFL starts this week. Football season is back. Let's dive into the rundown. Baseball Baseball Playoffs have started leaving some legends to ask...we are playing baseball. Yes legends indeed we are quickly winding down another season of Baseball.
